Sing Out
Find out more about our annual primary singing event and get involved
This massed singing event gives primary school pupils in Doncaster the opportunity to perform together alongside a live rock band at The Dome in Doncaster. Songs include brand new compositions created especially for the event by Doncaster Primary Schools, alongside modern pop songs.
We will be running three Sing Out concerts for 2027, on Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th and Friday 11th June 2027 at The Dome. There will be a rehearsal for schools on each concert day from 3pm.
School places are available on a first come, first served basis. Please ensure that you book a ‘pupil’ ticket for each pupil who will be attending, and a ‘teachers and school staff’ ticket for all adults who will be attending. This helps us to have an accurate idea of how many people to expect at the event.
We are adjusting our pricing for Sing Out this year, to help schools book the number of places that they need, reduce late withdrawals and enable us to continue investing in the quality of the musical experience for pupils. Pupil tickets will be paid for at the point of booking, if this will cause any problems for your school, please contact sophie@wearedarts.org.uk
Tickets will be priced at £1.50 for each pupil ticket and will be bookable via Eventbrite in blocks of 5. Each participating school must book a minimum of 15 child places. Tickets for teachers and school staff accompanying their school group will continue to be free. These ticket prices will replace the £30 participation fee that we have charged in previous years.
No refunds will be given in the event of schools cancelling or reducing their pupil places for the concerts.
You can book a place for Wednesday 9th June here.
The Thursday 10th June concert is now fully booked.
You can book a place for Friday 11th June here.
These concerts tend to book up quickly, so please do secure your places as soon as you can.
Please note, all of the composition workshops for 2027 have now been allocated. We allocate workshops to schools who haven’t received a composition workshop during the last three years, do not currently access any programmes with darts and have expressed their interest via the teacher feedback form for Sing Out 2026. If you would like to be added to our composition workshop waiting list, please contact Sophie on sophie@wearedarts.org.uk
Tickets for families will be available to purchase directly from The Dome nearer the time of the concerts.
