South Yorkshire Music Hub

South Yorkshire’s Mayor Oliver Coppard has established a new South Yorkshire Music Hub (SYMH), in partnership with the  four local Music Hubs across the region, in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.  This new collaboration, led by SYMCA and funded by Arts Council England (ACE), is part of an ambitious national program to provide high-quality music education for all children and young people.

The SYMH will continue the excellent work of the four local Music Hubs South Yorkshire which have supported thousands of young people’s music education. These organisations will continue to deliver music education across South Yorkshire, and this new partnership will enhance the offer through collaborations between educational, creative, and community organisations. It will strengthen relationships across South Yorkshire, bringing people together and linking to other exciting opportunities.
